No, don't be alarmed, I am not going to make 6 little POP quilts hihihi, that would be too much! Although I must admit, Pockets of Posies is such a lovely quilt to make, whether it is in the original size of my 50% smaller version!! Mine may not be so big in dimension but takes up the usual amount of time and we quilters want to do something small in between ahumm, right? By the way, the baskets were sewn around the middle block and coming soon, next week Wednesday hihi!! But well, the smaller projects are always nice, surveyable and, with a bit of luck, easily finished.
Kathleen Tracy of Country Lane Quilts has a new project from June through November: the American Schoolgirl Club! 1 new designed dollquilt pattern in a "booklet" for 6 months on a row with tips on how to make these little quilts. Like a Block of the Month with a pattern instead of a block. It sounds super to me, she makes the most lovely little quilts, the book Remembering Adelia which I showed you early on this year is also written by Kathy. She was inspired by the ladies of Little Quilts and look what I made in 1997, designed by them.
There are some little pieces of fabric that will qualify for a little project! I can hardly wait till the first pattern arrives, seems so nice to have a little snack hihi! Go and check out her blog "A Sentimental quilter", it is a true delight!
Mooie dag verder! Have a nice day!
